The sofa has a curved, “D” shaped seat back, and centered in the top of the seatback is a large, hand carved, long horn head with horns. The head is presented on an ebony finished, solid wood plaque, and small, dark, decorative nails border the plaque and the horns. Its ebony horns embrace the entire top of the seat back, and the horns flow downward to the end of the armrest. Adorning the upper, padded, front seat back, and following the contour of the carved head and its horns, is turquoise colored, patterned, full grain leather in a Western design. The leather continues downward and covers the front of the armrest.

The lower, padded seat back is upholstered with curved, brilliant red, full grain leather, and the junctions of the leather are double stitched together for extra strength and durability. The reverse seat back is upholstered in real, patterned cowhide, and the top of the cowhide is hand tack to the frame with small, gilt nails. The sofa has a curved, padded seat, and the seat is upholstery with matching, red, full grain leather.
